By creating an account on Folvi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Your continued use of Folvi constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms.
Folvi is a portfolio platform designed for instructional designers and L&D professionals. It provides tools to create and share a public portfolio page, showcase projects, upload or link to eLearning content, and communicate securely with visitors via end-to-end encrypted messaging.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Folvi uses Clerk for authentication — you agree to Clerk's terms of service in addition to these terms. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
You agree not to use Folvi to: • Upload or share content that infringes on intellectual property rights you do not own • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code (including in SCORM packages) • Impersonate other individuals or organisations • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data • Use the service for any unlawful purpose Folvi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at its sole discretion.
You retain full ownership of the content you upload to Folvi (portfolio text, project descriptions, uploaded files). By uploading content, you grant Folvi a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and serve that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. Folvi does not claim ownership of your work.
You are solely responsible for the files you upload to Folvi. Do not upload files that you do not have the right to share publicly. SCORM packages you upload may be served in-browser to visitors of your public portfolio. Ensure you have appropriate licences for any content within your SCORM packages.
Folvi offers the following plans: • Free — 1 active project, no charge • Starter Pack — 4 active projects, ₹1,000/year • Pro Pack — 11 active projects, ₹2,000/year Paid plans are billed annually and auto-renew each year unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing year, after which it downgrades to the Free plan. On downgrade or expiry, your newest project remains active. Additional projects are disabled from public view for 60 days. If you do not upgrade within 60 days, disabled projects are permanently deleted. Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of payment, provided you have not added projects beyond the Free plan limit. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable. If a technical failure on Folvi's part prevents access to a paid feature, we will issue a full refund regardless of timing. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Folvi aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages at any time. Folvi is not liable for any loss or damage caused by service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Folvi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
You may close your account at any time via the Settings panel. Folvi may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your public portfolio will be taken offline and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Folvi after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
